What is the AI for Science Build Fellowship? +
100 days with a virtual community of like-minded people, all working on projects at the intersection of AI and science. You pick your own projects, you can work in teams if you want, and you ship and demo every 2 weeks.
Who should apply? +
Anyone who wants to make an impact for new solutions in science. Prior fellows have been engineers, researchers, lab scientists, and people exploring their next thing.
Do I need to know how to code? +
No. There are no pre-reqs and all backgrounds are welcome. Fellows who came in with limited coding experience have finished end-to-end AI projects inside the first sprint.
What is the time commitment? +
8-10hrs a week. You’ll have weekly squad syncs and bi-weekly demos. We’ll have a few community experiences made available too to get to know other fellows.
Is it virtual or in person? +
Virtual. The cohort works and demos online, so you can join from anywhere. Fellows regularly meet up in person at Worldwide summits and community events when they overlap.
Does it cost anything? +
No. The fellowship is completely free for accepted fellows. We are supported by our community partners.
